These lists of words helped me to experiment with my objects and others to start really thinking about not only the sounds around me but also the different sounds with in one object. This really opened my ears to the sounds around me and I started listening intently to everything around me in the different environments I found myself in during the week, picking up on odd things that I probably wouldn't have picked up on before hand.
